Ground School - the "Educational" side of becoming a Pilot

From the Sport Pilot Certificate through and including the Certified Flight Instructor Certificate the ground training portion is essential for not only a well rounded education, but to pass the knowledge examination as well.

We believe that the classroom is the best setting to really learn the material, and since each person in the class brings something with them the classes are more than just the teacher lectures and the student listens.  It is a truly interactive environment with everybody contributing to the learning experience.

Since we believe that "bare minimums" are not enough to be an educated pilot, we teach all of our classes at the Commercial Pilot level.  Many courses will spoon feed you the questions and answers, and while you will likely score high on the knowledge exam you will be lacking when you need to apply the information at the cognitive level.  And, there is an oral examination administered by the Flight Examiner, and understanding the information will assist you to breeze through this portion of the flight check.

Ground School courses offered are:

Sport Pilot Private Pilot Commercial Pilot
Certified Flight Instructor Basic Ground Instructor Advanced Ground Instructor
Instrument Rating - Airplane Instrument Flight Instructor Multi-engine Rating
